The Eddie Sutton Foundation

The Eddie Sutton Foundation has been created in memory of former Oklahoma State University Head Coach and National Hall of Fame Coach Eddie Sutton.  While demonstrating toughness on the hardwood, Coach Sutton had an unconditional love for not only his immediate family, but also his basketball family.  His heart for children and his passion for helping others will live on through the Eddie Sutton Foundation.

The Eddie Sutton Foundation is comprised of a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and talent to raise funds for valuable research in the fight against cancer, host children at various OSU sporting events and make a difference in the lives of individuals and families who are battling the disease.

The Board is committed to championing Coach Sutton's three principles. 

Defense.  Dedication.  Discipline.

Research is the best defense against cancer.  Unwavering dedication to the cause and to the families we serve.  Discipline to stay the course and implement a full court press that will lead to a cure.

Guided by these three principles, The Eddie Sutton Foundation oversees the Cowboys vs Cancer Program (formerly Coaches vs Cancer), the OSU Cowboys vs Cancer Cowboy Classic Golf Tournament, and the annual Birthday Bash for kids state-wide who have battled or are battling cancer.

The Board is honored to continue Coach Sutton's legacy through this Foundation.
